IS IT CRAZY TO BUY ELECTRIC CAR?

Is it crazy to buy electric car? Perhaps if you would have asked someone ten years ago if they wanted to buy electric car, they almost certainly would have told you that you were crazy. The reason that someone would have looked at you like you were crazy is because during that period of time, electric cars seemed like something that was out of a science fantasy movie. Although someone might have agreed that electric cars would eventually be existent one day, I think they would have guessed that it would take many decades for electric cars to come into reality.

However, the realism of the situation is that technology has progressed much faster than a lot of individuals anticipated, and as a consequence, instead of being a fantasy, electric cars have now become something that is a reality. • We suppose electricity is the gas of the future. With electricity to power our transportation, our world can tap into renewable resources like hydroelectric, solar, wind, or geothermal power; resources that reduce our environmental footprint. Furthermore, studies show that millions of electric vehicles can recharge at night using existing extra electrical generation; a vast, virtually untapped resource.
• Gasoline is a precious natural resource and most important to the world economy. Electric vehicles use no gasoline and require no oil changes. Using fewer fossil gas can help relieve our present energy shortages while ensuring that future generations can rely on the same inexpensive, useful, petroleum products that we all take for granted.
• They are quiet. Walking on the streets of a large city could be almost a pleasure because it will be so quiet once the old gas engine cars make their way to the junkyard.
• No infrastructure. The cars can be filled up so to speak by just plugging them into an electrical socket.
