2008 Lexus RX 400h – Overview

2008 Lexus RX 400h: With its 3.3 liter, dohc 24v V6 engine – the 400h churns out 268 hp, and base MSRP – $41,180 (front-wheel drive version) and base MSRP – $42,580 (all-wheel drive), undoubtedly the new 2008 Lexus RX 400h is the most luxurious SUV and have a great performance.

2008 Lexus RX 400h with all this luxury and power it’s very easy make us to forget that this SUV is a hybrid. And while this luxury hybrid SUV may not get 40-50 mpg, like its cousin the Prius. 2008 Lexus RX 400h does command a respectable 28 mpg in city and 25 mpg highway driving. Moreover, 2008 Lexus RX 400h with 84 cubic feet of cargo space, can tow up to 3500 lbs, has plenty of room to seat five passengers comfortably… this luxury hybrid SUV is a lot better for the environment than nearly any other SUV.

While there aren’t a great number of changes from the 2007 400h, the 2008 Lexus RX 400h model does get an updated finish on the grill, a color-keyed rear spoiler, chrome door handles, and a cut-off switch that allows the driver to traction control functionality and shut off the stability.  Lexus even added seven new exterior colors for the 2008 model year.  Like last year, the RX 400h should continue to receive the zero-evaporative emissions vehicle certifications and Super Ultra Low Emission Vehicle (SULEV) in California.
