According my previous articles – alternatives energy-1 and alternatives energy-2, there many different form in which alternative energy is available. And one of these alternative energy is solar energy. Solar energy is power by photovoltaic cells. Photovoltaic cells are getting less expensive (gradually) and also getting more efficient.

This alternative energy can be used for heating, making hot water, electricity, and many more.

In reality, solar energy power is very eco friendly and good for the environment. Its produces no pollution – absolutely zero emissions, as its input comes completely from the sun rays. However, in order to economically harness the sun’s rays, the experts or scientists much more work still needs to be done. Nowadays maybe the resource is a little to conditional – we must backups used storage batteries as backups in the evenings and on inclement days.

For this time, some big-name company have made it interesting clear. They are also active in this action and using solar energy power as their economicall viable alternative energy source. WalMart wants to put in a huge number of solar power energy – about 100 megawatt. Google also participate in this action with putting in a 1.6 megawatt solar power generation plant on the roof of its corporate headquarters.
